He "did that which was right in the sight of the Lord, and walked in all the way of David his father." He ascended the throne at only eight years of age and in the eighteenth ear of his reign realized the importance of repairing the Temple of God.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">The Book of the Law</span> was discovered in the temple after being lost for years. As it was read to, he tore his clothes because he knew the Israelite nation had sinned against God. Josiah had the entire nation assembled and the words of the Book of the Covenant were read to them. They discovered aneww the Covenant that God had made with them and their forefathers and as a result celebrated the Passover, which had not been kept for generations. The Israelite nation looked to Jehovah as their true God.<br /><br /><span style="font-weight: bold;">This Old Testament story</span> is about one man who enabled an entire nation to hear the Word of God.
